Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO 01) located in Brockton, MA, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Trane for the replacement of a chiller system at Building 46, Brockton VAMC. The scope of work includes a turnkey installation of HVAC equipment, mechanical and electrical installation, and removal of the existing chiller system. The contractor will be responsible for providing a replacement Trane modular chiller system, recovering refrigerant, and preparing the chiller for removal from the site. The contractor will also be required to comply with all applicable records management laws and regulations, as well as National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records policies.
• The replacement of the chiller system is due to the existing system failing.
• The contractor will be required to provide a new Trane Artic Chiller with Pump Package.
• The contractor will be responsible for powering off all equipment from existing electrical panels and reconnecting power and control wiring to the new chiller.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable records management laws and regulations, as well as National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records policies.
• The contractor will be required to obtain the Contracting Officer's approval prior to engaging in any contractual relationship (sub-contractor) in support of this contract.
