WSAC - WA529 Social Media Management Services

The Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC) is seeking a qualified firm to manage the social‑media presence for Washington’s two 529 college‑savings plans (GET Prepaid Tuition and WA529 Invest). The contractor will develop a comprehensive strategy, produce and post static, interactive and video content across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, handle community engagement during business hours, and deliver monthly performance reports. The contract is a fixed‑price, one‑year agreement (with possible two‑year extensions), requires compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, and mandates specific insurance coverages and Washington state tax compliance. Key points: • Develop and execute platform‑specific content calendars and strategy, with approval cycles. • Produce and post 2‑3 quality pieces per week per platform, manage community comments, and provide analytics. • Meet contractual obligations including insurance (minimum $3 M umbrella), registration in WEBS and Access Equity, and retain records for six years.
