This solicitation seeks a qualified flooring contractor to remove existing carpet and flooring, dispose of waste, and install new luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and baseboards throughout Caltrans District 04’s Richmond Building B. The work includes handling modular systems furniture, providing protective covering, and meeting prevailing‑wage requirements. The contract is limited to small‑business, micro‑business, or DVBE firms and is valued up to $484,000, with a one‑year performance period.
• Remove ~11,357 sq ft of existing flooring & carpet and ~2,460 lf of baseboards, then legally dispose of materials.
• Supply and install LVT (Shaw Contract – Terrain II 20 Mil) and vinyl baseboards, including edge trims and cut‑outs for fixtures.
• Perform work after‑hours, use MSF lifting system for furniture, comply with C‑15 licensing, DIR registration, insurance, bonds, and prevailing‑wage payroll reporting.
