Description
The University of California, Davis Health is seeking a qualified firm to serve as the single point‑of‑contact for medical equipment deployment, logistics, and activation across its Sacramento campus and affiliated outpatient sites. The contractor will plan, schedule, and manage end‑to‑end logistics for capital construction, remodels, equipment replacements, and relocations, coordinating with Clinical Engineering, Facilities, IT, security, and other support services. The award will be a 48‑month professional services agreement with a maximum spend of $1.5 million, and the firm must provide a dedicated local resource residing in Northern California capable of same‑day site visits. Evaluation emphasizes experience (50 pts), dedicated resource availability (25 pts), education (15 pts), and business classification (10 pts).
• Develop integrated deployment plans, maintain rolling schedules, and mitigate logistics risks for projects ranging from $10 M remodels to smaller equipment swaps.
• Oversee receipt, inventory, staging, and just‑in‑time delivery of mobile, fixed, and wall‑fixture assets, ensuring compliance with infection‑control, safety, and prevailing‑wage regulations.
• Serve as the liaison between FP&D, Clinical Engineering, Distribution, IT/IS, and other campus departments, providing status dashboards, KPI reporting, and punch‑list resolution throughout the contract term.
