Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source contract to Steris for preventative maintenance on Steris equipment located at the Garner VA Clinic/Durham VAMC in Garner, NC. The contract period of performance will be from April 28, 2026, to September 30, 2026. The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, application, and technical phone support necessary to perform the preventative maintenance services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, warranty requirements, and industry best practices.
• The equipment includes Steris ADV+PT models with specific serial numbers.
• The contractor shall provide a service report after each service call, including date and total hours of service, parts installed, safety checks, performance data, and service comments or remarks.
• The contractor shall contact or be contacted by a Biomedical Engineering Personnel and sign in with the department prior to all services being performed.
• The contractor shall ensure that all personnel performing maintenance are properly trained, qualified, and certified to work on the specific equipment covered under warranty.
