Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to relocate and install two large walk-in freezer/cooler units at the USDA Central Crops Research Station in Clayton, NC. The contractor will be responsible for performing the work in accordance with the contract specifications and requirements. The contract is set aside for small business concerns, and the applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238220. The contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) and have an active registration at the time of solicitation closing.
• The contract is for a total small business set-aside.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws and the Equal Protection principles of the U.S. Constitution.
• The contractor must provide a certification regarding tax matters.
• The contractor must comply with the Buy American Act and the Buy American-Free Trade Agreements-Israeli Trade Act.
• The contractor must provide progress payments and final payment in accordance with the contract requirements.
