Cold Weather Warming Shelter Management Services

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas is seeking qualified private entities and/or non-profit organizations to establish and operate a temporary Cold Weather Warming Shelter for homeless individuals within Wyandotte County. The scope of work includes providing a safe and warm environment for homeless individuals during cold weather. Key responsibilities may include shelter management, staffing, and provision of basic necessities. The selected vendor will be expected to provide these services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. • The shelter should be able to accommodate a significant number of homeless individuals. • The vendor should have experience in managing similar shelters or providing services to homeless populations. • The shelter should provide basic necessities such as food, clothing, and hygiene facilities. • The vendor should have a plan in place for emergency situations such as power outages or extreme weather conditions. • The shelter should be accessible and welcoming to all individuals in need, regardless of their background or circumstances.
