Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide lawn maintenance services, including weed and feed, at the VA campus. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the grass areas, landscape beds, and perimeter fence. The contractor must ensure that all products used are safe, suitable for their intended application, and fully compliant with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor's employees will be required to wear their VA PIV Card at all times while on the premises. Some key features of the job include:
* Maintaining 384,188 square feet of grass area
* Maintaining 8,496 square feet of landscape bed
* Maintaining 3,936 linear feet of perimeter fence
* Chemically treating the retention pond area and gravel landscaping beds for vegetation
* Using a standard garden hose bib and 120V outlets in the Boiler Plant Garage
* Access to Boiler Plant Restroom while working onsite
