Bike Valet Services

The City of Long Beach is seeking proposals from qualified Bike Valet firms to provide as-needed services for Citywide events. The selected firm will be responsible for promoting sustainable transportation, ensuring safety, and enhancing attendee experience at City-produced events. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The City reserves the right to modify the contract dates and terms. • The Bike Valet firm will provide professional services for Citywide events, including event setup and breakdown, staffing and operations, and coordination with City staff. • The firm will be required to provide trained personnel to manage the bike valet area, including attendants for check-in/check-out, monitoring bike security, and assisting event participants. • The firm will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of bikes checked in and out, ensuring all equipment and bicycles are accounted for at the end of the event. • The City will evaluate proposals based on organizational capacity and experience, method of approach, communications and reporting, and reasonableness of cost.
