The City of Worcester issued an RFQ (Bid No. 8818‑J7) for the supply of 200 Motorola CP100D UHF portable emergency radios, complete with batteries, chargers, antennas, and belt clips, to be delivered to Worcester Public Schools by October 15, 2026. The solicitation required a 3‑year essential warranty and excluded programming services. Bids were evaluated on the lowest net price after permissible prompt‑pay discounts. After evaluating four responsive bids, Industrial Communications was selected as the lowest responsible bidder. The contract is a proprietary, single‑award, unit‑price purchase with multiple mandatory vendor certifications (good‑faith, CORI, MWBE, etc.).
