Overhead Door, Electronic Gate and Sliding/Swinging Door Maintenance and Repair Services

The County of Orange has awarded a contract to DNA Overhead Doors Inc. for the provision of overhead door, electronic gate, and sliding/swinging door maintenance and repair services. The contract is for a term of 5 years, with a total aggregate contract amount not to exceed $1,000,000. The contractor will provide services on an as-needed basis, with payment to be made in arrears. The contract includes provisions for pricing, payment terms, and termination. Some key points of the contract include: • The contractor must hold a current C-61 Limited Specialty license; D-28: Doors, Gates, and Activating Devices issued by the State of California. • The contractor shall furnish and maintain a telephone answering system with twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days per week service, capable of contacting and dispatching service personnel. • The contractor shall provide trained and experienced mechanics, each knowledgeable and capable of diagnosing and repairing problems with both electrical and mechanical portions of overhead doors and automatic gates. • The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with generally accepted industry practice for safe and efficient operation. • The contractor shall warranty all labor and materials used in performance of this work for a minimum of one (1) year after completion of the repairs. The contract also includes provisions for additional work, payment terms, and invoicing instructions.
