School Psychologist for PreKindergarten Children with Disabilities

The Lake County School Board is seeking a certified and licensed school psychologist to work with prekindergarten children with disabilities and their families. The contract will be for a 24-month term, with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The estimated financial impact for the 2016-2017 school year is $35,475.00, which will be funded through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) federal grant. The scope of work includes providing school psychologist services as needed throughout the district. • The contract was awarded to ProvidaStaff, LLC dba EDU Healthcare as the primary vendor and Cobb Pediatric Speech Services, Inc. dba Cobb Pediatric Therapy Services as the alternate vendor. • The bid was announced on June 7, 2016, and four companies submitted their proposals for consideration. • The contract will provide firm prices for the 24-month term, expiring August 7, 2018. • The contract may be extended for two additional 12-month periods upon mutual agreement and provided all terms and conditions remain the same.
