BARBER AND BEAUTY SUPPLIES

This contract is for the purchase and delivery of barber and beauty supplies to the County of Orange. The contract has a firm fixed fee of $45,000.00 for the initial three-year term. The contractor is required to provide volume discounts, support and participate in all manufacturers' programs, and notify the County of any "Opportunity Buys" or "Special Deal" pricing. The contractor is also required to deliver products within seven working days from the date the order is placed and to provide a packing list, bill of lading, and/or invoicing that correctly identifies each product and quantities received. Some key products included in the contract are finger nail clippers, toe nail clippers, barbicide disinfectant, and hair clippers. • The contract includes a scope of work that outlines the specific requirements for the delivery of barber and beauty supplies. • The contractor is required to provide a warranty for all products and to notify the County of any changes in the contract products that may cause a safety or security risk. • The contract includes a pricing structure that guarantees prices quoted are equal to or less than prices quoted to any other local, state, or federal government entity for services of equal or lesser scope. • The contractor is responsible for all costs related to photocopying, telephone communications, and fax communications while on County sites during the performance of work and services under this contract.
