Provision of Community Services

The contract is for the provision of community services and facility use between Orange County, Florida, and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation, Inc. The contract has a term of two years, from February 21, 2023, to September 30, 2025, and may be renewed for an additional two one-year periods. The contract includes provisions for billing and payment, intellectual property, publication, and warranties, as well as requirements for background screenings and insurance. The vendor is required to provide customized technical assistance to nonprofit organizations and to award a certificate of completion to participants at the end of the project. The contract also includes provisions for noncompliance and termination. Some key points of the scope of work include: • The University of Central Florida Research Foundation, Inc. will provide services as outlined in Attachment A, which includes the provision of community services and facility use. • The vendor will provide customized technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, including drafting of documents and other organizational materials. • The vendor will award a certificate of completion to participants at the end of the project. • The contract includes provisions for background screenings, insurance, and intellectual property. • The contract may be terminated for noncompliance or convenience, with penalties and requirements for notice and cure.
