RE-BID - Meals on Wheels Program

The contract is for the provision and delivery of meals for the Meals on Wheels Program in Bergen County, New Jersey. The contract has a total value not to exceed $1,180,703.16 and is for a period of one year, commencing January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026. The contract includes two 12-month renewal options. The meals will be provided by GenNx Whitsons Acquisition, Inc., d/b/a Whitsons Food Service (Bronx) LLC. • The contract is an open-ended contract, meaning that the county is not obligated to order, accept, or pay for the meals except when it orders them. • The contract includes a price increase of 3.0% from the 2025 meal price. • The contract requires the vendor to provide individual daily hot meals, frozen 5-day meal packages, and extended weekend/double holiday meals. • The contract is subject to the Affirmative Action Regulations of the State of New Jersey and requirements of Public Law 1975, Chapter 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
