SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME ADVOCACY SERVICES

The County of Riverside is seeking a vendor to provide Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Advocacy Services. The goal of the program is to assist foster youth in gaining access to federal disability benefits while in foster care and to have those benefits in place when leaving or emancipating from the foster care system. The contract was awarded to Maximus Human Services, Inc. after a competitive bidding process. Key aspects of the contract include: • Providing SSI advocacy services to eligible youth • Assisting youth in gaining access to federal disability benefits • Ensuring benefits are in place when youth leave or emancipate from foster care • Maximizing the use of federal and state funds • Providing services as detailed in the RFQ document
