Description
The School Board of Leon County, Florida issued ITB 2411‑2024 to procure “as‑needed” charter‑bus transportation for school‑district activities such as field trips, athletic events, and extracurricular outings. Three motor‑coach companies were awarded separate District Term Contracts (DTC #25‑1005, #25‑1006, #25‑1007) to provide the service over an initial three‑year period beginning 10 April 2024, with optional renewals extending the term to a maximum of six years. Vendors must supply buses ≤ 15 years old, with a minimum of 16 passenger seats, ADA‑compliant, and meet strict driver qualification, safety, and insurance standards. Services are billed on a unit‑price schedule (flat rates for a 5‑hour minimum, hourly or per‑mile rates thereafter, multi‑day/overnight rates, and a $250 cancellation fee for short‑notice changes). The District will issue purchase orders per trip; invoices are paid via ACH within 30 days.
