Body Transport Services

The County of Riverside is seeking a vendor to provide body transportation services for the Riverside County Sheriff/Coroner's Department. The contract is for 5 years, renewable in one-year increments, and the vendor will be responsible for transporting decedents from their death locations to the Coroner's forensic centers in Perris or Indio. The contract includes pricing for services in three geographical areas: Area #1, Area #2, and Area #3. The vendor will also be required to provide pricing for services outside of the geographical borders. • The contract is for body transportation services, including pickup and transport of decedents to the Coroner's forensic centers. • The vendor will be responsible for verifying the identification of the decedents with Sheriff/Coroner staff or other persons present. • The contract includes pricing for services in three geographical areas: Area #1, Area #2, and Area #3. • The vendor will also be required to provide pricing for services outside of the geographical borders. • The contract is expected to be for 5 years, renewable in one-year increments.
