This contract is for inmate communications services, including telephone, video visitation, and service-enabled tablets. The services are provided by Securus Technologies, LLC, with various pricing structures for different types of calls and services. The contract has a term of 6 years, with the option to renew. The pricing includes rates for local, interstate, and international calls, as well as commissions paid to the county. Some key features of the contract include: • No charge for un-answered or un-accepted calls • Incomplete calls such as network intercept recordings, busy signals, no answers, refusals of calls, answering machine pickups, etc. shall not be billable • Charges for calls shall not begin until the call recipient accepts the call • Rates do not include federal, state, and/or local taxes or regulatory fees The contract also includes pricing for tablet services, including movies, music, and messaging, with commissions paid to the county on these services.
