23-0110 - HVAC FACTORY CHILLER SERVICE AND OEM REPAIR PARTS – BID #23-0110

This contract is for HVAC factory chiller service and OEM repair parts for the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida. The contract has a duration of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The contractor will provide all materials, labor, supervision, fuel, travel, equipment, tools, etc., to perform the work required. The contract includes provisions for emergency/hurricane or disaster situations, and the contractor must provide a "first priority" basis for goods and services during such events. The contract also includes requirements for background screening, safety data sheets, and safety precautions. • The contract has a maximum mark-up of 15% for materials, subcontracted services, and rental equipment. • The contractor must provide a copy of the itemized materials invoice from the supplier with all billings to the School Board. • The contractor must provide a copy of the itemized subcontracted services invoice from the subcontractor with all billings to the School Board. • The contractor must provide a copy of the itemized rental equipment invoice with all billings to the School Board. • The contract includes a questionnaire to determine if the bidding company is an authorized agent of manufacturer and marketer of commercial/industrial HVAC products and services. • The contract requires the contractor to provide commercial references, HVAC service personnel information, and a bid form.
