HIPAA SECURITY ASSESSMENT SERVICES

The County of Riverside is seeking a consultant to provide a Privacy and Security Risk Assessment for multiple County departments pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH). The scope of the project includes assessing compliance with the HIPAA Rules and additional privacy and security regulations and contractual requirements. • The consultant will provide a comprehensive risk assessment of the County's HIPAA security compliance. • The assessment will include evaluating the County's current security measures and identifying areas for improvement. • The consultant will provide recommendations for remediation and mitigation of identified risks. • The scope of the project may include assessing compliance with additional privacy and security regulations and contractual requirements.
