Plan Check, Map Check and Building Field Inspection Services

The County of Placer is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Plan Check services for civil site Improvement Plan review, Map Check services for Final Map review, and Building Plan Check and Field Inspection Services for Building Permits. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish three Qualified Lists of firms, one list to serve Engineering & Surveying for Plan Check Services and one list for Map Check Services, and one list to serve the Building Services Division for Building Plan Check and Inspection Services. Services shall be provided on an as-needed basis. The County intends to name approximately five consultants to each list, which shall be valid for three years from the date of award, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. • The contract includes a description of the scope of work, proposal requirements, and instructions for submitting a proposal. • The contract is for Plan Check, Map Check, and Building Field Inspection Services. • The contract is valid for three years from the date of award, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. • The County intends to name approximately five consultants to each list. • Services shall be provided on an as-needed basis.
