Charter Bus Services

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Charter Bus Services, with the goal of entering into a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with one or more contractors to provide charter bus services to municipalities, counties, school districts, and other governmental agencies. The contract will be available for use by members of the TXShare cooperative purchasing program. The desired service categories include School Bus Services, Charter Bus Services, and Prisoner Transportation via Bus Services. The contract award does not guarantee any specific number of trips to any firm awarded under this contract. Each customer will negotiate their own specific scope of work for their transportation needs on an as-needed basis. • The RFP was issued on March 13, 2024, with a bid submission deadline of April 12, 2024. • A pre-proposal conference was held on March 21, 2024, via Microsoft Teams. • Three proposals were received and evaluated by a committee, with recommendations to award contracts to Echo Tours & Charters, LLP dba ECHO AFC Transportation and Game Time Transportation, LLC. • The contract will be considered at the NCTCOG Board of Director’s meeting on June 27th.
