EMPLOYEE ASSITANCE PROGRAM (EAP) BENEFITS

The City of Palm Bay is seeking a vendor to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits to its employees. The vendor will be required to provide initial and annual consultation with key City officials, train the City's supervisors, and make a brief presentation to employees to familiarize them with the Company's services. The vendor will also be required to provide written and electronic materials to maximize awareness in the workplace and promote access to EAP services and support. Some of the key services that the vendor will be required to provide include: • Introduction to the EAP programs • Recognition of problematic employee situations • Interviewing skills and methods for making EAP referrals • Privacy and confidentiality issues • Recognizing substance abuse in the workplace and appropriate referral actions under Drug-Free Workplace Program • Critical Incident/Grief Counseling services as needed for Police and Fire Department personnel during trauma situations.
