24 MONTH ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL SERVICE CONTRACT, INCLUDING ONE 24 MONTH EXTENSION, FOR THE INSPECTION, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND EMERGENCY REPAIRS OF THE OVERPECK CREEK TIDE GATES

This contract is for the maintenance and repair of the Overpeck Creek Tide Gates, which includes the inspection, operation, maintenance, and emergency repairs of the gates and associated systems. The contract is for a 24-month period, with an option to renew for an additional 24 months. The contractor is responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance, as well as responding to emergency repairs within a two-hour time frame. The contract includes a detailed scope of work, which outlines the specific tasks and responsibilities of the contractor. Some of the key tasks include: • Performing routine inspections of the gates and associated systems • Maintaining and repairing the gates and associated systems • Responding to emergency repairs within a two-hour time frame • Providing a 24-hour emergency phone number • Obtaining a NJ Turnpike Yearly Permit within 30 days after award of contract The contractor is also responsible for providing a licensed electrical technician and a mechanical technician on staff, as well as subcontractors and parts as needed.
