JOB ORDER CONTRACT FOR ROOFING SERVICES FY 24-25

This contract is for roofing services to be provided by Best Contracting Services, Inc. to the County of Orange. The contract is for a period of one year, with a total contract amount not to exceed $3,500,000. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work. The county will make progress payments monthly as the work proceeds, with a retention of 5% until final acceptance of the work. Key aspects of the contract include: • The contractor is responsible for all costs related to photo copying, telephone communications, and fax communications while on county sites during the performance of work and services under this contract. • The contractor must maintain records for all costs connected with the performance of this contract, including the costs of administering the contract, materials, labor, equipment, rentals, permits, insurance, bonds, etc. • The contractor must comply with the provisions of the Construction Safety Orders issued by the State Division of Occupational Safety & Health. • The contractor must provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) compliant with California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 5194, for each hazardous substance that is provided, used, or created as part of the goods or services provided by the contractor to the county.
