C-100905 ITB 22-23 - Fire Extinguisher Maintenance and Inspection

This contract provides for the required annual, 5, 6, and 12-year inspections/certifications, repair, or replacement of extinguishers for all City Facilities and/or vehicles as requested. The contract is worth $300,000.00 and spans 5 years, from May 10, 2022, to May 9, 2027. The contractor, Fire Systems West, will perform each individual project upon receipt of a City-issued Purchase Order. Key aspects of the contract include: • Annual, 5, 6, and 12-year inspections/certifications of fire extinguishers • Repair or replacement of extinguishers as needed • Work to be performed in accordance with attached Contract Plans, Provisions, and General Conditions for Facility Construction • Contractor to file "Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages" with the Department of Labor and Industries for each contract year • Contractor to file "Affidavit of Wages Paid" upon completion of the contract year
