Overhead Door, Electronic Gate and Sliding/Swinging Door Maintenance and Repair Services

The County of Orange has awarded a contract to JT Lewis Inc. dba National Garage Door Co. for Overhead Door, Electronic Gate and Sliding/Swinging Door Maintenance and Repair Services. The contract is for a term of 5 years, with a total aggregate contract amount not to exceed $1,000,000. The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for overhead doors, electronic gates, and sliding/swinging doors at various County facilities. The contractor must hold a current C-61 Limited Specialty license and furnish and maintain a telephone answering system with 24/7 service. The County reserves the right to use alternate sources for completion of the work and to obtain competitive prices on any repair. • The contract includes a firm fixed fee structure, with payment terms of net 30 days after receipt of an acceptable invoice. • The contractor is responsible for all costs related to photocopying, telephone communications, and fax communications while on County sites. • The contract includes provisions for payment of rental equipment, parts, and materials, with a maximum mark-up of 10% for specialized rental equipment and 25% for parts and materials. • The contractor must submit invoices on their letterhead, including their taxpayer ID number, and provide supporting documentation for all purchases.
