Radio Site Preventive Maintenance Services for City and Borough of Juneau, (CBJ) Juneau Police Department (JPD)

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a contractor to provide Radio Site Preventive Maintenance Services for the Juneau Police Department. The contract includes the performance of a Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) on radio system equipment installed at Juneau Police Department and Capital City Fire/Rescue communications sites. The contractor will be required to provide a single point of contact, transportation to work sites, and all necessary hardware and software to complete the PMI. The contract also includes the requirement for the contractor to have a Motorola Gold Program Level Channel Partner with Field Service Personnel trained, certified, and experienced working with the Astro 25 Conventional K-Core System and MCC-7500 Dispatch Consoles. • The contract is for a total of $12,680.00. • The project is expected to be completed by May 31, 2024. • The contractor will be required to provide a written report of findings documenting radio site and equipment status. • The contractor will be required to adhere to industry standards to test, align, report, and document each type of communication equipment. • The contractor will be required to have an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator's License (GROL) or equivalent certification. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of certification(s) for each employee who will be working on the project.
