UWG Virtual Reality Space

The University of West Georgia is seeking a qualified supplier to provide a Virtual Reality Room that can accommodate at least 6 people in a shared physical space. The room must provide a library of interactive VR experiences, allow for the design and development of VR experiences by UWG students and faculty, and enable research in VR experiences with rapid prototyping and recording of sessions for later playback and analysis. The contract is intended to start once awarded for one year with four optional one-year renewals. Key features of the Virtual Reality Room include: • Networked Virtual Reality experience • Accommodates at least 6 people in a shared physical space • Library of interactive VR experiences • Allows for design and development of VR experiences by UWG students and faculty • Enables research in VR experiences with rapid prototyping and recording of sessions for later playback and analysis • Provides 3D graphics, audio, and haptic feedback • Fully networked across any number of sites
