Description
The City of Worcester solicited vendors to provide mobile food‑service (vending/concession) operations at a roster of municipal parks, fields, and seasonal beach sites for the 2024 summer season. Vendors must operate a self‑contained food truck or trailer, supply all food, beverages (non‑alcoholic), equipment, trash removal, and comply with extensive health, safety, and city regulations. The contract is awarded on a location‑by‑location basis to the highest compliant bid, with service hours from 8 a.m. to sunset daily between May 1 and October 31 (beach sites July 1–August 20). Payments are made in five equal installments from June 1 to October 1, 2024. Preference is given to Worcester‑based minority, women, or veteran‑owned businesses, but there is no mandatory set‑aside.
