Custodial Services for City Facilities Zone 5

This three‑year, firm‑price contract awards custodial and janitorial services for all City of Mesa facilities located in Zone 5. The contractor must provide daily cleaning, restroom maintenance, floor‑care (including strip‑wax, buff, carpet extraction, and LVF cleaning), emergency response, supplemental work, and all consumables, while supplying qualified staff, background‑check clearance, badges, uniforms, equipment, and vehicles. The agreement includes strict performance penalties, reporting requirements, and compliance with OSHA, E‑Verify, drug‑free workplace, and other statutory obligations. • Scope covers routine cleaning, restroom & locker‑room upkeep, trash/recycling management, floor care, jail‑cell cleaning, supplemental/extra work, and 24/7 emergency response. • Contractor must provide a field supervisor (who cannot oversee other contracts) and submit monthly schedules, daily work‑reports, and invoices on specified timelines. • Fixed‑price for the entire term (no CPI or minimum‑wage adjustments) with a base annual value of approximately $1.35 M, and optional renewals for up to two additional years.
