C-101192 RFQ 9-23 - International Building Code (IBC) Related Fire Plan Review Services

The City of Vancouver has awarded a contract to Bureau Veritas North America, Inc for International Building Code Related Fire Plan Review Services. The contract is for a period of 5 years, from April 17, 2023 to April 16, 2028. The contractor will provide plan review services to verify compliance with the Washington State Building Code, specifically code requirements relating to IBC Chapters 9 and 34. The contractor will also provide on-site inspection support when requested by the Building Official or Designee. The contract has a maximum compensation of $300,000.00 USD. • The contractor will provide written review documents, telephone calls, emails, online meetings, and in-person meetings. • The contractor will conduct plan reviews and provide written comments to the Building Department. • The contractor will prepare, modify, and/or review design documents such as code analyses, life safety drawings, and calculations. • The contractor will prepare letters, reports, and correspondence stating professional opinion on matters within the field of expertise. • The contractor will provide on-site inspection support when requested by the Building Official or Designee.
