Continuing Civil Engineering Services

This contract is for continuing civil engineering services to be provided by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to the City of Orlando, Florida. The services include providing professional engineering consultation and advice, and furnishing customary civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire, environmental, transportation, stormwater, irrigation, landscaping, and electrical engineering services. The contract has a term of 3 years, from May 1, 2022, to April 30, 2025. The contract also includes provisions for additional services, such as preparation of applications and supporting documents for private or governmental grants, loans, or advances, and services resulting from significant changes in the previously approved extent of the project or its design. • The contract includes a detailed scope of work, including study and report phase, preliminary design phase, final design phase, bidding or negotiating phase, and construction phase. • The contract also includes provisions for payments to the consultant, including methods of compensation, reimbursable expenses, and payments by the owner. • The contract includes provisions for termination, including termination for cause or convenience, and payment upon termination. • The contract also includes provisions for indemnification and insurance, including workers' compensation and employer's liability, comprehensive automobile liability, commercial general liability, and consultant's errors and omissions policy.
