Telecommunication System Upgrade

The San Mateo County Information Services Department is seeking to upgrade its telecommunication system from a TDM Nortel PBX infrastructure to a current Avaya Aura VoIP/SIP environment. The contract was awarded to ConvergeOne, which will design, implement, consult, and recommend best practice vendor solutions to assist the county in completing the upgrade. The scope of work includes migrating from a 4, 5, and 6-digit dialing plan to a 7-digit extension dialing plan, implementing next-generation mobility solutions, and replacing all Nortel hardware with Avaya Aura components. The Avaya Aura system will also be required to integrate with Microsoft Teams application.
