• The EMIS should be able to communicate with UGA's electric utility providers to automate and streamline retrieval and storage of electricity billing data.
• The EMIS should be able to automate and streamline retrieval and storage of natural gas billing data, and maintain historical data continuity regardless of the marketer.
• The EMIS should be able to communicate with the Athens-Clarke County Public Utilities Department (ACCPUD) to automate and streamline retrieval and storage of water and sewer billing data.
• The EMIS should be able to detect and flag potential billing errors, and facilitate reconciliation.
• The EMIS should be able to provide access to and visualize data for specific users and user groups, and deliver custom usage and cost reports.
• The EMIS should be able to streamline and add value to the process of analyzing consumption and cost data, flagging facilities for potential energy or water conservation measures, and prioritizing those opportunities.
