21/0385-A - Supplemental Non-Emergency Transportation Program Providers for Harris County RIDES, the Medical Transportation Program, and the ADA Complimentary Paratransit Program for the Harris County Housing and Community Development Department

This contract is for the provision of supplemental non-emergency transportation services for Harris County RIDES, the Medical Transportation Program, and the ADA Complimentary Paratransit Program. The vendor, WHC HTX LLC dba zTrip, will provide transportation services to residents in unincorporated Harris County and outside of the Metro service area. The contract has a term of one year, with options to renew for four additional one-year periods. The vendor will be paid based on the number of trips provided, with a fuel surcharge applied when the average price of regular unleaded gasoline exceeds $3.00 per gallon. The contract includes requirements for the vendor to provide accessible vehicles, to assist passengers with small packages, and to provide curb-to-curb and door-to-door service.
