Description
The White River Junction VA Medical Center is seeking a qualified firm to provide a rental chiller to provide chilled water for the main chilled water loop serving multiple patient care buildings. The rental chiller should have a capacity of 150 tons, ambient temperature design of 95°F, voltage of 460/3/60, entering water temperature design of 54°F, and leaving water temperature design of 44°F. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the chiller, connecting it to the existing building connections, providing routine maintenance and service, and ensuring proper power is available. The period of performance for this rental agreement is from April 27, 2026, to October 27, 2026.
Key requirements include:
• Delivering the chiller to the ground level near Granite building 31
• Connecting chilled water lines to the existing building connections
• Providing specifications for electrical connections
• Performing routine maintenance and service, including monitoring temperatures and pressures, inspecting condenser coils, and inspecting for refrigerant and water leaks
• Dispatching a technician to diagnose and repair any issues that arise
• Obtaining approval from the Contracting Officer prior to engaging in any contractual relationship with sub-contractors
