Description
The City of Kenai is seeking a qualified firm to operate a five‑year advertising concession at Kenai Municipal Airport, handling the marketing, design, installation, operation, maintenance, and management of commercial advertising displays throughout the terminal. The concessionaire will receive revenue from advertisers, must meet a minimum annual guarantee, and pay a percentage of gross revenue above a $30,000 threshold.
• Operate and maintain a full suite of advertising media (digital displays, posters, product cases, etc.) in the airport terminal.
• Provide monthly revenue reports and remit a $9,000 minimum annual guarantee plus an agreed‑upon percentage of gross revenue exceeding $30,000.
• Deliver required licenses, tax compliance certificate, insurance, and non‑collusion affidavit; insurance minimums include $1 M CGL and workers’ comp as per Alaska statutes.
• Contract term is five years with an anticipated notice‑to‑proceed on or before December 1, 2026; renewal options may be month‑to‑month after term.
• Bids due November 10, 2026; pre‑bid meeting (optional) on October 27, 2026; questions must be submitted by November 4, 2026.
