Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide vehicle HVAC system repair and maintenance services for a 2013 Freightliner vehicle at the Grand Junction VA Medical Center in Colorado. The scope of work includes identifying and repairing problems with the air conditioning system, conducting a detailed inspection, and providing a written diagnostic report. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the tasks. The contractor must have the necessary equipment, personnel, and resources, as well as recent experience performing similar services.
Some key tasks and deliverables include:
* Identifying and repairing the problem with the air conditioning system
* Conducting a detailed inspection of the entire HVAC system
* Providing a written diagnostic report
* Inspecting and repairing faulty generators
* Replacing or repairing dead batteries
* Conducting vacuum and leak tests
* Charging the HVAC systems with the appropriate amount of R134A Freon
* Performing a complete functional test of both front and rear HVAC systems
* Providing a detailed report on system function and any recommendations for further action.
