SD-25-00033 Correctional Health Care Provider Network

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Correctional Health Care Services (CDCR/CCHCS) is seeking information from qualified contractors to provide a Health Care Provider Network (HCPN) of community-based specialty medical services providers and a Third-Party Administrator for healthcare claims processing services. The scope of work includes providing hospital services, specialist/physician services, ambulatory surgery centers, medical transportation services, dental specialty services, mental health services, and other medical services to CDCR and REPS incarcerated persons. The network must include provider services in Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona for nearby CDCR institutions or facilities. • Hospital Services: inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services • Specialist/Physician Services: emergency services, inpatient/outpatient medical consultation and treatment, surgery inpatient/outpatient consultation and treatment • Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Specialty Service Centers • Medical Transportation Services: emergency and non-emergency air and ground ambulance transports • Dental Specialty Services: oral surgeon services, maxillofacial, periodontal • Mental Health Services: acute community hospitals, inpatient acute psychiatric hospital services, psychiatrist services • Medical Imaging Services: off-site medical imaging services, off-site radiology services, on-site medical imaging/mobile imaging services • Clinical Laboratory Services: STAT and routine testing, courier services, electronic lab reporting system • Pathology Services • Telemedicine Services: synchronous and asynchronous • Onsite and Offsite Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services • Reentry Program: primary care services, optometry services, dental services • Centers of Excellence: highly specialized, high-cost procedures such as transplants, burns, cancer treatment, and coronary artery bypass grafts
