Description
This solicitation seeks to pre‑qualify up to ten general contractors to provide minor renovation and addition services for K‑12 schools within Anne Arundel County. The contract is an ID‑IQ style award lasting up to four years, with each individual project capped at $1.5 million. Contractors must be licensed in Maryland and Anne Arundel County, demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, and meet stringent financial, bonding, insurance, and background‑check requirements. The award process includes a technical evaluation weighted on experience, references, personnel qualifications, and project approach, followed by sealed‑bid competition for specific projects as they arise.
• Scope covers interior and exterior construction (walls, ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, casework, windows, exterior sealant, steel doors, demolition, fire‑alarm/sprinkler work, ADA upgrades, minor site work, and related M/E/P trades).
