Description
Multnomah County is seeking a contractor to provide on-call HVAC water treatment services for a period of five years. The contractor will be responsible for providing professional inspection, water testing, chemical treatment, and repair services for the water associated with certain mechanical systems. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and county laws, ordinances, and rules, and must also comply with the county's sustainable, responsible, and equitable business practices. The contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder who is determined to be responsive and responsible.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the services.
• The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to large commercial or industrial facilities.
• The contractor must have a good safety record and must comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• The contractor must have adequate insurance coverage, including liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
• The contractor must be able to provide 24/7 emergency response services.
