Description
The State of California’s Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide monthly preventive HVAC maintenance and as‑needed repair services for its Redding office located at 1325 Pine Street. The contractor will be responsible for routine inspections, preventive tasks, emergency and routine repairs, equipment part replacements, and comprehensive reporting, all while complying with applicable codes and safety standards. The work covers four air‑handling units, a 40‑ton condensing unit, a dedicated cooling unit, exhaust fans, hot‑water heaters, and associated controls. The contract term is three years, beginning October 1 2026, with a requirement for rapid response to emergencies and coordination with EDD staff.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance inspections and servicing of HVAC equipment.
• Provide “as‑needed” repairs, including emergency calls with a 2‑hour response window and a 24‑hour response for non‑emergency repairs.
• Supply labor, materials, and documentation (service reports, logbooks) while maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations.
