Description
The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of the existing nine morgue bays with nine new, fully compliant, modern morgue cooler units for the Eastern LA Mental Health System (ELMHS) located at 4502 Hwy 951, Jackson, LA 70748. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications.
• The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the job.
• A jobsite visit is required prior to bid opening.
• The contract may be extended for 2 additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions, with a total contract term not exceeding 36 months.
• The state of Louisiana has the right to terminate the contract for convenience at any time, and the contractor shall be paid for deliverables in progress, the percentage that has been completed satisfactorily, and for transaction-based services up to the date of termination.
