Description
The Alaska Court System is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Rabinowitz Courthouse in Fairbanks, Alaska. The contract will be for a period of 2 years with 4 optional 2-year renewals. The contractor will be responsible for providing daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning services, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Daily cleaning services will include tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning countertops, and spot cleaning surfaces.
• Weekly cleaning services will include tasks such as dusting, cleaning secured areas, and sweeping and mopping stairwells.
• Monthly cleaning services will include tasks such as dusting and cleaning air vent grills, shampooing or extracting carpeting, and cleaning and polishing metal trim work.
• Semi-annual cleaning services will include tasks such as stripping and waxing floors, deep scrubbing concrete floors, and shampooing or extracting carpets.
• Annual cleaning services will include tasks such as dusting and washing light fixtures, deep scrubbing and resealing concrete floors, and washing interior windows.
The contractor must have experience providing janitorial services and must be able to provide references. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
