Description
The Maryland Department of Health is seeking a CDC-approved vendor to provide lifestyle coach training and advanced training opportunities for the National Diabetes Prevention Program in Maryland. The vendor will provide three virtual lifestyle coach training events and at least 200 hours of Advanced Coach Training opportunities for current lifestyle coaches and program coordinators. The training events should have a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 participants, and the vendor will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the virtual platform. The vendor should also provide reporting and evaluation results, advice on DPP implementation, and ongoing technical assistance to coaches.
Key requirements include:
• Providing three virtual lifestyle coach training events
• Providing at least 200 hours of Advanced Coach Training opportunities
• Meeting reporting requirements, including providing confirmation of lifestyle coaches successfully completing training and evaluation results
• Providing advice and technical assistance to coaches
• Completing the first two training events and at least 130 hours of ACT opportunities by June 30, 2026, and the remaining training event and 70 hours of ACT opportunities by September 30, 2026.
