Vital Records Interoperability Project

The Center for Health and Environmental Data (CHED) is seeking a qualified vendor to implement a Rhapsody instance to enable the transmission of vital event data using the required FHIR standards. The project involves building and testing Rhapsody routes and messages, processing IJE notifications, and providing project management and administration. The vendor should have experience in developing Rhapsody instances, sending and receiving multiple data formats, and working with vital records jurisdictions on similar projects. • The project requires the vendor to have a minimum of five years of experience acting as a prime contractor providing IT and telecommunications services. • The vendor should have experience in implementing solutions for government entities involved in vital records. • The project involves a budget of approximately $250,000 for the initial development and additional budget funding for maintenance. • The contract is expected to start on July 1, 2026, and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods.
