Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking bidders to provide coveralls and shop supplies rental services to four locations in CAL FIRE's San Benito-Monterey Unit. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary to furnish clean coveralls and various shop supplies on a weekly rental basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
• The contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment.
• The contractor must have a business license or incorporation papers for their respective state, showing that their company is in good standing.
• The contractor must comply with all federal, state, city, and county laws, rules, or regulations affecting the work.
• The contractor must provide commercial general liability insurance, worker's compensation insurance, and commercial automobile insurance.
• The contractor must observe all security rules and regulations and comply with all instructions given by institutional authorities when working in and around inmates in California's camps.
