Description
The City of Mobile is seeking pre‑qualified general contractors to undertake a multi‑phase animal services facility renovation and demolition project at 1668 West I‑65 Service Road South. The scope includes demolition of two metal buildings, renovation of a 10,000 sf two‑story masonry/wood‑frame building, renovation of a 17,000 sf pre‑engineered metal building, and associated site work (grading, utilities, paving, etc.). Contractors must demonstrate experience on projects of $9 M+ with similar complexity, possess bonding capacity for 100 % performance and payment bonds, and meet specified insurance and safety program requirements. DBE participation is strongly encouraged.
